I am very proud to announce that today we launched the Microsoft Tester Center.  Below is more information.  Please let your teams know and help to build the momentum for the site.

Thanks,

-Jim-

Microsoft is proud to announce the external launch of the Microsoft Tester Center at STAR West 2007 in Anaheim. The Tester Center is designed to promote the testing discipline, showcase testing expertise, and help build a robust community of testers on MSDN.  The site will offer tips on testing practices, short whiteboard videos on targeted testing techniques and strategies, stories from testers, tester spotlights, technical articles, a test forum, and much more. The site is located at http://msdn.com/testercenter. Passionate testers from all over Microsoft have contacted tcsubmit@microsoft.com   to become more involved in this, first of its kind, MSDN site dedicated to the testing discipline. Thanks to sponsorship efforts from the Visual Studio Team System product unit and MSDN, we are now ready to broaden the audience to the testing community worldwide.

Many thanks to the Tester Center Virtual Team, Microsoft Test Leadership Team, Microsoft Engineering Excellence, Microsoft Test Architect Group, MSDN, Visual Studio Team System product unit and Visual Studio Team System Test Edition team for working diligently over the last six months to make this concept a reality.

Visit the site and join the budding community of testers. Help make our effort a success by forwarding our link to the testers in your world and by sharing your ideas, experiences, content and blogs by emailing tcsubmit@microsoft.com

Best Regards,

Roy Lee
